Fall Fest Fun


PORT ST. LUCIE – The fall festivities continue in Port St. Lucie, and there will be plenty to do this weekend. On Saturday Nov. 9, the Treasure Coast Brew Fest returns to the area from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Tradition Square. Attendees will be able to sample over 300 beers from 50 different breweries. There will also be wine and a variety of food truck options available onsite. Guests of all ages will be able to enjoy live music and games. Pre-sale tickets are $35 each and may be purchased online. Tickets may also be purchased at the event for $45 each. Guests who will not be sampling beer and wine may attend for free. Also on Saturday Nov. 9, the McCarty Ranch Preserve on Range Line Road will host its bi-annual Bonfire and Hayride. This event is free to the public and offers fun for the entire family. There will be horseback riding, pony rides, and a petting zoo, as well as bounce houses, face painting, hayrides, and a bonfire. The event will also feature a fishing tournament and live music. The Bonfire and Hayride will run from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free, and food will be available for purchase throughout the event. Finally, there will be several car shows on Saturday Nov. 9 for local vehicle enthusiasts. The Port St. Lucie Civic Center will host the Hot Wheelz 4th Annual Car Show from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Admission is free to the public. Participants in the show are invited to bring their car, truck, or bike and compete for a variety of possible trophies and prizes. Entry into the show for those wishing to compete costs $25 per vehicle, with $50 VIP parking and $75 VIP indoor spot options. In addition, Keiser University on Southwest Discovery Way will host the Wheels and Motors 2019 Car Show from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event is open to all cars, trucks, and motorcycles and will feature music, food, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Awards include Best of Show, Campus Choice, and top ten specialty awards, with an additional top 50 awards for all judged classes.
