MARTIN COUNTY - The 5th Annual Martin County Open Studio Tour is being held on the weekend of Saturday March 6 & Sunday March 7.

Curious art lovers can view original new work and purchase one-of-a-kind treasures directly from the artists.

The artists will open their studios to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Martin County communities of Hobe Sound, Palm City, Port Salerno, Stuart, and Jensen Beach.

It’s an opportunity to meet and get rare personal insight into the creative processes of 30 different artists in 21 different studios. You can see their creations in a variety of media including fiber, ceramics, painting, jewelry, glass, mixed media, photography, and sculpture.

This event is totally free. The tour is self-guided and allows visitors to meet and talk with the artists where they create, in each of their unique studios.

A map and the addresses of the artists’ studios can be found in the free Tour booklet which you can download at MCOST.org. The free tour booklet is also available in several businesses around town including, the Cultural Center, Elliott Museum, Stuart Art Supply, Gilt Complex, Kling Gallery, Red Barn Furniture and many more. The addresses and the map will guides visitors to the 21 different studios.

Some studios, such as the Stuart Stain Glass, are downtown but there are some in Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, and Palm City. Each are unique.
