STUART — The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, Chef’s Table and Libations Mobile Catering are coming together for a unique experience, “Whiskers for Whiskey” — a tasting event featuring exclusive, top shelf whiskey and bourbon paired with five expertly crafted plates. This inaugural event will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Chef’s Table, 2313 SE Ocean Blvd.

A liquor representative will be on site to speak on behalf of the selected spirits as he guides guests through an aromatic and flavorful tour designed to unlock their senses. While savoring every sip, they also will enjoy chef-prepared cuisine to accompany each pour. Each mouth-watering dish is being designed to complement the tasting while fully satisfying their appetites.

“This five-course pairing is bound to leave a lasting impression on all who attend, so much so, that we’re certain they’ll want more when it ends,” said HSTC Director of Community Outreach Courtney Zanetti.

In addition, each guest will automatically be entered to win Dinner for Two to include a bottle of whiskey. This package is valued at $150 and is only being made available to those who purchase tickets to attend the event. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase (available for attendees only). Only 100 tickets will be included in the drawing, so the odds of winning are quite favorable!

The cost to attend for guests (21 and older) is $150 per person and seating is extremely limited. Go online to or call Zanetti at 772-600-3211 to make a reservation. All proceeds benefit the animals at the Palm City shelter.

Event sponsors are Chef’s Table, Libations Mobile Catering, Florida Native Grill Cleaning, Home Team Lending, Stryker Electric & Air, and Treasure Coast Legal.
