• Life Hacks, first Wednesday of the month at noon. Pick up tricks and techniques to make life easier and save money. Topics include cleaning, organizing, cooking.

• Friday Matinee Movies, first Friday of the month at noon. Newly released movies for adults. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy a movie and popcorn on us.

• Master Gardener’s Growing Series: learn the 9 Principles of Florida Friendly Landscaping and other exciting gardening topics. 1st and 3rd Mondays at 5:30 p.m.

• Senior Tech Expo, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Experience Virtual Reality, take fun pictures with Green Screen, learn about 3D printing. Bring your device and download a free eBook.

• Vero Beach Historical Series, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. Take a journey back in time to old Vero through a documentary series presented by the Indian River County Historical Society.

• Cooking with Chef Warren Caterson: The Perfect Valentine’s Day Celebration, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. Chef Caterson will show you how to prepare four entrees in less than 20 minutes.

• Candle Making Workshop, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. Learn the basics of candle making and make your own. Limited room is available. Reservations are required. Contact Jessica at 772-770-5060 ext. 4121 to reserve your spot.

• Craft Days, third Monday of the month, 4–5 p.m. Make and take crafts. New project each month. Supplies provided. Program designed for adults.

• Brackett’s Book Club, last Thursday of the month, 3–5 p.m. Book selections available at the library.

• BINGO Mornings, first Thursday of the month, 10–11 a.m. Join us for a cup of coffee and BINGO. Small prizes, registration encouraged.

• Classic Games Club, last Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. Join us for an afternoon of playing classic board games and card games. Scrabble, Quiddler, Chess, Checkers, and more. This program is for adults.

• Get to know your Library: first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. Take a tour of the Brackett Library and see what your library card can do for you. Meet the Brackett Library staff. Learn how to search and locate materials, use your online account to renew and reserve materials, and how to use other online resources.
