SEBASTIAN ― Home Goods and Decor for Less in Sebastian has just completed its first year of business, and owners Mike and Jennifer Abraham seem to have hit upon a winning formula. It is one of the only stores on the Treasure Coast where you can find lines of customers outside, waiting to get in to shop for bargains.

“We are a locally owned and operated new furniture store,” Mr. Abraham told Hometown News. “We also offer t-shirt printing while you shop, large and small orders, signs, banners, magnets, and cards, with your own design or custom designed by our in-house graphic designer.”

The store opened in May, 2020, selling mostly liquidation items from big box stores at 25% to 50% savings off retail prices. While those items are still offered, the business is now focused more on furniture, home décor, kitchen appliances, BBQ grills, beds, electronics, and the custom printing services.

If looking for new furniture, Home Goods and Decor for Less sells recliners, sofas, sectionals, love seats, dining rooms, kitchen furnishings, a full line of living room furniture, and outdoor seasonal furniture. They offer Ashley's two lines, Signature and Benchcraft, and Best Furnishings, all with extended warranties and financing available. New furniture shipments arrive weekly.

In the electronics section, inventory changes every week, so you can find new bargains every time you visit. Don’t waste your money paying retail prices elsewhere when you can find the same items here at dramatic discounts, including tablets, phones, ear pods, game consoles, watches, drones, cameras, video cards, and motherboards.

The Abrahams seem to know exactly what Sebastian shoppers want. This is not surprising, as they are longtime, proud members of the Sebastian community.

“We have raised our three daughters here for the last 16 years, and all are graduates of Sebastian River High School,” Mr. Abraham said. “The community means a great deal to us, as we are now watching our grandsons grow up here. We strive to make everyone feel welcome in our store while offering a great place to shop right here in Sebastian.”

The big draw for bargain hunters is the store’s unique bin sales. Lines form on Friday and Saturday mornings, as locals know that is when the bins are filled with fresh merchandise.

If shopping the bin sales, you will quickly learn that it’s well worth it to buy one of the store’s 19-gallon IKEA bags for $5.

“We buy truckloads of assorted goods from big box stores,” Mr. Abraham said. “Bin sales items can range from clothing to phones, tablets, books, small décor, phone cases, and much more.”

On Fridays and Saturdays, when the bins are filled with new merchandise, all items are only $5. The price for those bin items drops to $4 on Sundays.

If you’re willing to take the chance that the items you want will last another day, come back Monday, when the price of those same bin items drops to $3. Whatever makes it past Monday drops to $2 on Tuesday, and then $1 on Wednesday. Anything remaining in the bins is then sold for $.50 each on Thursday, to make room for the weekend’s new merchandise arrivals.
