ST. LUCIE COUNTY – You won't have to travel far to find plenty of parties and festivals that are celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
On Saturday, St. Patrick's Day on Second Street will take place in downtown Fort Pierce. Hosted by Sailfish Brewing Company, this family-friendly event will include tasty food from local vendors, live music from The String Assassins from 3 – 5 p.m., the Humdingers from 6-8 p.m., and Rivertown from 9 p.m. - midnight.
The live music will take place on a stage in the middle of 2nd Street. Street pubs from 2nd Street Bistro & Sailfish Brewing Company will dot the block, there will be a Vendor Village down to Orange Avenue and a Kid's area for families with wee ones.

Also taking place on Saturday is St. Paddy's Day on Marina Way featuring Free Range Strange. Start your St. Paddy's Day Shenanigans early at Bottom's Up Public House, downtown's newest establishment, with $1 Guinness drafts from 8-10 a.m., shot specials and more. They are teaming up with Cosmic Barley to bring you some awesome live music starting at 10am featuring Free Range Strange, Smokefog & Johnny Debt. This event will take place in the lot next to Bottom's Up Public House located at 208 Avenue A.

On Sunday, Pierced Cider will host a St. Patrick's Day party from noon- 9 p.m. There will be drink specials, green cider, a food truck and live music from Sunday regular Johnny Debt from 3-6 p.m. and Ben Prestage from 6-9 p.m. These brothers are two of the most talented musicians in the area. The City of Port St. Lucie will celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 15 from 5-10 p.m. and on March 16 from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center. Saturday's festivities will start with a parade at 11 a.m. There will also be carnival rides, Irish dancing and a Miss Irish Rose pageant.

Stuart Mainstreet will host Shamrock Fest on March 17 at Riverwalk in downtown Stuart from 3-9 p.m. There will be live music from The Kindred Kilts, cold green beer, an Irish Whiskey Bar, and Irish food including Corned Beef and Cabbage, Corned beef on rye, and Shepard's Pie. There will be a costume contest and a kid's zone. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door and include a free green beer. Kids 12 and under are free.
