STUART – In an effort to keep The Barn Theatre afloat during this period of diminished audience attendance and cancelled shows caused by the pandemic yet still bringing its patrons top notch entertainment, The Barn will produce four major concerts spanning a variety of different musical genres, including Rock n Roll, Pop, and Motown. These concerts will be presented in December, January, February, and April. December concert, “Memories, The Ultimate Elvis Experience,” stars Matt Stone, who is a nationally acclaimed young Elvis Presley tribute artist featured on Sirius Radio and other major publications.
He will perform Elvis hits from the 60's right up to his incredible Las Vegas shows. The Presley tribute hits the stage for two performances only, Saturday evening, Dec. 12 at 8PM, and Sunday afternoon, December 13, at 2 p.m.
The Elvis Tribute is followed in January by our Welcome in the New Year concert featuring two acclaimed tribute artists, Jonathan Elgard and Greg Vadimsky. Their concert, “Eye to Eye, A Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John,” is a recreation of the Face to Face Tour of Elton John and Billy Joel, complete with all the glamor, glitz, pianos, glasses and outrageous outfits. Each artist will perform their own tunes and then join forces to perform as an iconic duo. The Eye to Eye concert is Saturday evening, January 2, at 8PM, and 2PM, Sunday afternoon, January 3.
Our third concert is particularly unique for The Barn Theatre and we saved it for our 50th anniversary season. For the first time on our stage, we will be featuring a Motown group composed of five exceptional vocalists.
“Get Ready, A Tribute to the Four Temptations and The Four Tops” envelops us all in the timeless music of Motown through amazing recreations of the look, moves, rhythmic vocal harmonies, costumes, and choreography of two of the greatest Rock n Roll groups. Get Ready is at the Barn for two performances only, a Saturday evening performance at 8PM, February 13, and Sunday afternoon at 2PM, February 14.
Our final concert of the season, “Come Fly With Me,” features several very polished Barn Theatre performers and the Treasure Coast Tappers. This concert brings us on an exciting journey as we travel the world on the wings of music and dance. We'll travel with songs like Edelweiss, Sweet Home Alabama, I Love Paris, New York State of Mind, Dancing Queen, and many more hits. Come Fly With Me runs for three performances, Friday and Saturday evenings, April 16 and 17, at 8 p.m., and Sunday afternoon, April 18, at 2 p.m.
The Barn Theatre would like to especially thank Allola McGraw and Barbara Birdsey who generously paid for all the production costs associated with our tribute concerts.
