Martin County Pet of the Week - Week of March 1, 2019

Once a Dolly's Dream dog, always a Dolly's Dream dog.

Blaze has returned to HSTC after being adopted in back in March of 2018 through no fault of his own. He is an active, boisterous pup who is looking for an active family. He enjoys going for runs in the morning and swimming when the weather is nice; he even knows his way around a boat! Blaze is housetrained and knows several basic commands. Plus, he has lived with children in the past. He can be a bit picky about his dog friends so a meet-and-greet with any potential doggie siblings is strongly recommended. Blaze likes cats - as a potential snack and to chase. While Blaze would enjoy a home with cats or other small pets, the other pets would not appreciate living with Blaze. During his previous stay with HSTC, Blaze was treated for heartworms and he is now heartworm negative! If this fun loving pup sounds like the one for you, come meet him at the HSTC main shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City. Blaze is a HSTC Dolly's Dream Dog! This means his adoption fee has been sponsored AND he comes with a bunch of extra goodies to help him adjust to his new home. Some of these bonus goodies include a crate and a FREE 6 week training class! To learn more about Dolly's Dream, please visit https://www.hstc1.org/dollys-dream.
