Martin County Pet of the Week - Week of March 8, 2019

Bandit:

Bandit is a sweet but shy 10 year old gal who has been in our care since September. Since she came to us as stray, we do not know much about her past. Thanks to an adoption that did not work out, we do know that Bandit takes a while to warm up to new environments and would prefer a calm, quiet home without any other pets. Bandit is also FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. This sounds scary but it is not contagious to humans and very difficult to transmit to other cats; FIV also does not effect a cat’s lifespan. Bandit’s adoption fee has been sponsored by Lisa with Planet Home Lending! Bandit and all of her adoptable friends can be seen online at hstc1.org.
