• Pelican Island Audubon Society Summer Camps: Give your child a summer of outdoor adventure, exploration, and education at Pelican Island Audubon Society’s summer camp! We are offering four week long camp sessions on June 14-18, June 21-25 and July 26-30 for children aged 10-17.

The camp is held at Audubon House, 195 9th St. SE (Oslo Road), in Vero Beach.

The cost is $200 per week.

• Creative Arts Camp: Weekly Creative Art Camps for children and teens at the Vero Beach Art Club Annex & Gallery.

The Vero Beach Art Club is hosting a summer fine arts camp program for 3 different age groups. Children ages 4 - 8 years old; artists aged 8 and up; and teen artists 11 years of age an up.

The program runs each week through Friday July 23. It began Monday June 7.

The Fine Arts Camp will be offered weekly, Monday - Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• 16th Annual Waterlily Celebration: Enjoy the centerpiece of McKee’s horticulture collection during the 16th Annual Waterlily Celebration on Saturday, June 19 from 8:30 am to 2 p.m. The ponds and waterways throughout the Garden are adorned with over 80 varieties and over 300 potted and 100 free-range plants including night and day-blooming varieties. This event also features hands-on re-potting demonstrations, plant sales (bromeliads, orchids, succulents, aquatic plants and garden accents). Guests will also have an opportunity to enjoy plein air artists creating original works of art and speaking with our plant experts throughout the Garden.

Admission: $15 Adults | $13 Seniors (65+)/Youth (13-17), $10 Children (2-12). McKee members and children under 2 free.

•"Spring Back": The newest art installment at The Galleries at First Pres entitled “Spring Back” runs through June.

The exhibit features the works of local artists Joyce Simonton-Clamp, Michele Loftus-Trzcinski, and Donna Ware. The galleries are located throughout the campus of First Presbyterian Church at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach.

• The Riverside Dance Festival - Student Workshops: This is a unique experience in Intensive Summer Study presented by Riverside Theatre and Ballet Vero Beach. The workshops run from Monday July 26 through Saturday August 7.

Accepted students will experience day-to-day life with konverjdans from New York City.

Students will have the opportunity to take daily technique classes in Ballet and Contemporary Dance forms from konverjdans and Riverside’s own distinguished faculty, they will also participate in master classes, open rehearsals, and work towards the creation of their own work to be performed alongside konverjdans in a mixed repertory concert to culminate the festival.
