TREASURE COAST — As part of their ongoing efforts to support the strong and resilient communities that they serve, Bealls Stores recently partnered with Coastal Conservation Association Florida on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, donating a percentage of sales from their Florida Strong™ brand to help with the conservation of Florida’s marine resources.

“Partnering with the Coastal Conservation Association is a testament to our support for our local communities and their enduring strength during difficult times. We believe it’s vital to help replenish marine life and restore our waters,” said Matt Beall, Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer for Bealls Stores, Inc.

“For every 'Florida Strong' item purchased during this promotion, we donated a percentage of sales to the CCA, and we are excited that our guests helped us support this essential local program and their work in our community.”

On Oct. 20, 2018 during the fourth annual CCA Florida STAR Banquet and Awards Ceremony, Bealls Stores presented a check for $1,500 from their Florida Strong™ promotion. “Anyone who lives or vacations in Florida has benefited from our amazing fisheries and marine and coastal resources,” said Brian Gorski, CCA Florida Executive Director. “It’s critical that as a community, we do what we can to support these resources, and enhance them for future generations.”
