VERO BEACH ― The good folks at Walking Tree Brewery in Vero Beach are doing their best to keep the fun (and beer) flowing during these trying times.

The brewery is calling this weekend their four year “unniversary,” because they want to save the big “anniversary” bash for a “less weird” time.

The party starts Fri., July 17 with a movie screening and parking lot pool party from 7-10 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and kiddie pools to relax and enjoy a socially distant showing of the classic movie Jaws. They’ll supply the water for your kiddie pool and will even have a lifeguard on duty.

The outstanding food truck Good Karma Co. will provide a delicious menu during Jaws and throughout the weekend. And that night Walking Tree will release their 2020 Peach Destroyer bottle.

On Sat., July 18, the celebration continues with a parking lot party and tailgate competition from 3-5 p.m.

Teams of 10 people or less will have 45 minutes to deck out a truck, car, trailer, tent, school bus, camper van, motor scooter, or any other vehicle.

You'll have a parking space-sized slot and the room around you to work with. Winner gets a free keg of any of the brewery’s core brands. Limited spots are available, so email to reserve your socially distanced competition space.

“Sour Release Saturday” will feature some unique beers including Sassy Flamingo, Sunny T, and the new Stay Frooted.

Come back on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and every Tuesday through September for Taco Trivia Tuesday. There will be prizes and giveaways and, of course, beer and a food truck.

Walking Tree Brewery is located at 3209 Dodger Road, Vero Beach, on the corner of Piper Dr. and Dodger Road.
