SEBASTIAN - Earl’s Hideaway in Sebastian has an eclectic line-up of music set for Thanksgiving weekend.
The headliner on Sun., Dec. 1 from 4-6 p.m. is the South Florida-based Terry Hanck Band. Mr. Hanck is an award-winning tenor saxophonist who was a member of Elvin Bishop’s band from 1977-1987, and then again for a reunion in 2010.
Mr. Hanck played on Elvin Bishop’s most famous album, “Struttin’ My Stuff”, which included the huge hit “Fooled Around and Fell in Love.”
“Terry Hanck is a fine vocalist, an amazing showman and my favorite sax player,” said Elvin Bishop.
The Terry Hanck Band includes Johnny Soubrand, guitar, Butch Cousins, drums, and Tim Wagar, bass.
Starting the weekend on Fri., Nov. 29, 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., is Seed, a hard rock power trio from Cocoa Beach. Seed plays some originals, but mostly well-known hard rock classics from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam.
Seed is Joshua Dean, vocals/guitar; Frank O.G., bass/vocals; and Chris Marshall, drums.
On Sat. Nov. 30, Earl’s has two bands. First up is The Mixers, 2-6 p.m. The Mixers is a Sebastian band that plays rock, rhythm and blues, and New Orleans-style dance music.
The Mixers is Joe McManus, Mojo Mike Brown, Chris Sadlers, Nino Costanza, Rob Taylor, Devon Costanza, and Caesar D.
Then on Sat. night, 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., the Melbourne and Palm Bay-based A Touch of Gray plays classic rock like Santana, Grand Funk Railroad, Chicago, and The Beatles.
A Touch of Gray is Bobby Bryant, rhythm guitar and vocals; Skip Gosnell, lead guitar and vocals; Don Brawders, drums and vocals; Richard Putz, keys; and Bart Carter, bass.
