MARTIN COUNTY – It’s a weekend of music and fun in Martin County starting Friday Feb. 28 when the students of South Fork High School in Stuart will perform the school edition of Les Misérables. The production is an extension of the students’ study of French history and is an adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical, based on the book by Victor Hugo, performed entirely by students. The performance will take place at South Fork High School from 7:30 pm until 10 pm, with additional performances on Saturday Feb. 29 at 2 pm and again at 7:30 pm. Also on Friday Feb. 28 is the opening reception of the Art Associates of Martin County Annual Juried Art Show. The reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Treasure Coast Unitarian Universalist Congregation. This event is free to the public, and food and drinks will be available. This is the perfect opportunity to admire some wonderful artwork and support local artists.

On Saturday Feb. 29, Notes Music Room & Wine Bar in Stuart presents Fun Pub Bingo from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Entry is free, and the event is open to all ages 16 and up. Bingo cards are $2 each and a $5 minimum drink or snack purchase is encouraged. Free cookies will be available during play, as well as drink specials including $6 sangria, $4 domestic beers, and more. Sodas, coffee, and espresso will also be on offer.

Notes will also be hosting Jazz Sundays in the Creek on Sunday March 1 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. This event takes place on the first and third Sundays of every month in the Creek, Stuart’s arts and entertainment district, and features a full jazz band and vocalist.
