Landsharks band

Gary Roland and The Landsharks will play Jimmy Buffett tunes outside the Riverside Theatre Aug. 16-17, 6-9:30 p.m.

VERO BEACH - Riverside Theatre’s Cheeseburger in Paradise weekend includes free live music outside, and a ticketed Howl at the Moon show inside.

Gary Roland and The Landsharks will perform outside Aug. 16-17, 6-9:30 p.m., playing Jimmy Buffett tunes and other “beach rock” classics. The Landsharks claim to fame is that they have actually played with Jimmy Buffett. They’ve also played numerous Super Bowl events throughout the years, including a New England Patriots Super Bowl victory party.

The air-conditioned lobby opens at 5:45 p.m., so arrive early and buy some food and beverages. Those purchases fund the free concerts.

Bring lawn chairs, but leave the coolers and pets at home.

If the Landsharks aren’t enough, change your latitude and head inside for a Howl at the Moon Cheeseburgers in Paradise party. Tickets are required for the show that will feature three talented musicians, Rhoda Johnson, Ken Gustafson and Aleksandr Khalitov, taking requests for Buffett tunes and anything else you want to hear.

This special Riverside Theatre event will feature tropical drinks, cold beer, door prizes and tasty food. Wear your Hawaiian shirts to contribute to the Buffett vibe.

The Howl at the Moon live music request shows are at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets cost $12 for side seats and $16-22 for table seating. Select your seats and purchase tickets at www.riversidetheatre.com/howl-at-the-moon.

Parking is free and both the outdoor concert and the indoors show are handicap accessible. Riverside Theatre is located at 3250 Riverside Park Dr., Vero Beach. For more information, call (772) 231-6990.
